What exact madwifi package number are you seeing this for? I'm not sure what you're referring to? Its the kernel package, kernel-default-2.6.14.2-3.i586.rpm as found in autobuild. apparently this comes from km_wlan -> maintainer Please provide some information about your hardware, especially what architecture are you using, whether smp or not, and which Atheros card you have. For the latter, grep for 'wifi0: mac' in /var/log/messages. Model: 6.9.5 "Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1700MHz"
Features: fpu,vme,de,pse,tsc,msr,mce,cx8,sep,mtrr,pge,mca,cmov,pat,clflush,dts,acpi,mmx,fxsr,sse,sse2,tm,pbe,est,tm2
kernel-default, no smp.

Madwifi had a few updates in the meantime. Does the problem still exists? I don't know, the laptop I had problems with is currently broken and under repair. lets pretend its fixed and I'll reopen if I see any more issues. |
