Description Marco Auer 2005-12-05 21:10:25 UTC
I am using a Fujitsu Siemens SCALEOVIEW C15-2 LCD Monitor.

Horizontal frequency: 28 - 63 kHz
Refresh rate: 55 - 78 Hz

SaX2 is setting the horizontal frequency to 30 - 63 instead of 28 - 63. The result is that my monitor cannot display the screen (out of frequency). There is also no way to set the frequency manually to 28 in SaX2, because the minimum setting for the editbox is 30.

Thanks,
Marco

Well the lower bounding is not the reason for an "out of sync call"
of your monitor. sax will use 30Khz as lowest value because of the VESA
standard. I assume a problem with the upper bounding.

If you don't mind could you check out the latest version from
here:

   ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/sax/head-build/suse-10.0

I have in mind that this one has been fixed there.
Please drop me a note if I'm wrong

Thanks
