Description Lorne Shantz 2005-12-08 03:49:28 UTC
10.1 Alpha 3 installation. I was using an Intel MB #D845PEBT2, P4cpu, Pioneer DVD-ROM ATAPIModel DVD-120S, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive. I am using a Microsoft optical intelimouse in a PS2 port.

The wheel works fine scrolling down, but if you roll the wheel even one click up, it will pop up odd windows in Firefox and in Konqueror it pops up the Open with, etc box. Although oddly enough just now when I did it it worked twice and then acted up.

I am pasting the boot.msg file here in case there is any help for this bug or the previous one(s).

Please attach /etc/X11/xorg.conf and /var/log/Xorg.0.log.
Comment 2 Lorne Shantz 2005-12-10 04:50:45 UTC
Created attachment 60239 [details]
/var/log/Xorg.0.log test file

This is the log as requested. I noticed that during the install that my Viewconic A110 monitor did not get properly detected,so I had to manually edit the conf file in /etc/X11
Comment 3 Stefan Dirsch 2005-12-14 11:54:46 UTC
etc/X11/xorg.conf is still missing ...
Comment 4 Stefan Dirsch 2006-01-12 14:43:02 UTC
No appropriate feedback (xorg.conf still missing) --> closing as WONTFIX.
