Description Valerio Mariani 2005-12-13 23:05:27 UTC
The soundcard is detected and installed correctly during the installation, playback and system audio is fine with kde. However, cd playback using xmms - cd is not working and microphone gives no input at all with any application (audacity, krecord, skype, etc.)

Alsamixer: all channels to maximum volume

Output of hwinfo --sound:

I have tried to configure the card for hours, so I think it's a bug

Thank you

Reorganization of usability-bug assignments.
We try to discharge the number of our bug entries in the next
weeks.
=> Reassigned to efuchs
Comment 2 Evamaria Fuchs 2006-12-20 15:49:23 UTC
This is not a usability bug. It is a hardware compatibility issue. I'll reassign it to the bug-screening team.
Comment 3 Matej Horvath 2006-12-20 16:52:17 UTC
The module snd-hda-intel is loaded, so the hw should work. I'm going to reassign it to the Alsa maintainer.
Comment 4 Takashi Iwai 2007-02-26 14:17:17 UTC
This bug has been fixed in the latest version of the driver.
