I have the same issue on Thinkpad T series notebook. Only way to bypass is to chose acpi=off install option. Fails to boot after install unless acpi=off specified as kernel parameter as well. Could you please run hwinfo and attach the output to this bug report? Thanks! Created attachment 62511 [details]

does acpi=off fix the D610? Which Thinkpad fails? Is this true still in SL10.1 Beta1? I no longer have the alpha 4 cds. However, I have tried 10.1 beta 1 on the Dell D610 and there are no problems with installation. |
