Description Forgotten User ZhJd0F0L3x 2005-12-21 11:06:49 UTC
Alpha4 with latest STABLE updates:
testuser@linux:~> rpm -qa Network*
NetworkManager-0.5.1cvs20051212-4
NetworkManager-gnome-0.5.1cvs20051212-4
NetworkManager-kde-0.1-2

after connecting to the wireless network, i get an error popup. If i click on "details", i get an awful lot of text (actually the text seems to be repeated multiple times) in a tiny window that cannot be resized.

I will attach screenshots and the text (cut'n'pasted)

this could be due to subdomain problems - the testuser has his home on /local/testuser and i got some subdomain errors in the logs.

Dec 22 11:57:20 linux kernel: SubDomain: REJECTING w access to /local/testuser/.gconfd (gconfd-2(3656) prof
ile /opt/gnome/lib/GConf/2/gconfd-2 active /opt/gnome/lib/GConf/2/gconfd-2)

this does not solve the bad usabilitz of the non-resizable error window :-)

after deinstalling all subdomain stuff, the error no longer pops up.
