Gnome control center does not have any entry to allow one to configure default applications and URL handlers.

That applet is removed from the control center on purpose, because of UI issues. CC'ing Anna for more comments.

This was rejected by Anna Dirks in past in bug 73047 and discussed in bug 73047,  bug 73547, bug 88231 and bug 130196.

Hi! We have changed the control center such that it is now okay to have this capplet again. It may be re-added.

I added this to the desktop.patch file in control-center and submitted to autobuild on 1/12

This addition was approved by the UI team and thus does not depend on the resolution of 118960.
