I have a Compaq nx8220 laptop. Grub's graphical boot menu worked fine with 10.0, but not any more on 10.1. I tested it with factory as of December 30. Booting MS Windows works, but booting Linux freezes the machine. Hitting 'esc' to get to text mode does not work either. After commenting out the line about graphical boot in menu.lst, everything works fine.
