Description Bryce Nesbitt 2006-01-03 18:54:33 UTC
If I scroll up rapidly using the mouse wheel in Mozilla, I frequently get "can't find URL". If I have a text box selected at the time, I get something pasted into the box.

This can be confusing and disconcerting.

I'm using a fully patched SUSE 10.0 distribution on PC hardware. The mouse is a logitech M-BD58, which works perfectly otherwise.

The behavior is 100% repeatable. As the paste happens in other applications, I assume it is an OS or Gnome thing, not Mozilla's fault.

Looks like my mouse is generating middle button press events in this case...
