Description michel munnix 2006-01-04 10:52:39 UTC
Every time I update a SuSE linux system, the keyboard is reset to the default corresponding to the language choosen for the installation and not the installed keyboard from installed system (SuSE 9.3)
For example, my current system has the belgian keyboard (be) installed.
If I select the French language, I'll get the 'fr' keyboard, If I select German, I'll get the 'de' keyboard.
This will be a problem for all multilingual countries which have an own keyboard layout (in Swizerland there is also italian ...)
YaST should keep the previously installed keyboard selection.

This was already implemented and is present in current previews of 10.1 :-)
