Description Christian Boltz 2006-01-06 19:02:54 UTC
Entering http://suse.de/ (without www.) in my browser, I get the error message "http://suse.de/: Name Lookup Authoritative Answer Host not found".

The same happens with http://suse.fr and http://suse.cz - and maybe more suse.* domains I don't know.

Oh, at least http://suse.com works.

Please make the other domains working without "www." also ;-)

One more related bug: the redirect from http://suse.it leads me to a Novell page saying "Even though you visited SUSE.de, ..." - but I came from suse.it this time...
Comment 1 Martin Lasarsch 2006-01-09 11:20:24 UTC
hmmm ... it works for me with firefox, but not with konqueror. tested suse.de, but only from our internal network.

deckel: can you help here? If not, please reassign back, thanks.

Fixed for suse.de and suse.fr. suse.cz will be fixed also.

Assigned to Frank Sundermeyer for the suse.it redirect.
Comment 3 Christian Boltz 2006-01-10 19:44:29 UTC
Current behaviour:

- http://suse.fr currently results in a redirect to
  https://www.cpservices.de/suse/pweb.nsf/login, which results in
    Error loading http://suse.fr:
    No connection to www.cpservices.de.

- http://suse.cz shows an empty page ("<html></html>")

Please try again to fix those ;-)

- the good news: http://suse.de works :-)
Comment 4 Frank Sundermeyer 2006-01-12 12:41:16 UTC
http://suse.cz and http://suse.fr are fixed.
Cannot fix suse.it because it does not belong to us (it is redirected to www.suse.de, though)
Comment 5 Christian Boltz 2006-01-12 13:20:09 UTC
The described suse.* domains without www work now :-) (except the "wrong" redirect from suse.it as described by Frank).

Thank you!
