Description Haojie Lin 2006-01-07 12:18:02 UTC
Wastage of CPU suddenly rise to much when minimize/unmaximize/close application ( Nautilus,Gedit,Firefox) in GNOME.Then the cursors(mouse) hangs for a while (about 1 sec.).

This situation does not occur in KDE,SUSE 9.3 GNOME, but GNOME of SUSE 10.0 and 10.1 Alpha4(maybe Alpha1-3 too)

It runs very smooth when minimize/unmaximize/close application window In KDE. When GNOME of SUSE 9.3 run smooth too.

I haphazard found that everything run smoothly when minimize/unmaximize/close application window,if don't set background whit image just set one color.
And also run smoothly if set background whit 1600x1200 tiled image,my screen is
1024x768.

Actually,I don't express the wastage of CPU.I really mean that it run very slow
when minimize/unmaximize/close application window, the cursors can't move for about 1 second. I don't thing it is because has not enough memory,my computer have 512MB physical memory.

Sorry for my poor English,I am not native English speaker.hope you can know what I mean.
