Description Heiko Schmidt 2006-01-09 16:00:56 UTC
I use a winbond W89C33 wlan mPCI card, Yast identifies it as winbond eth-card, ndiswarpper is loading the windows-driver correct and tells me driver is valid and device is there. But I get no wlan-device on my laptop.
So I think this card isn´t supported by SuSE10.0.
If I´m right, please tell me if this will change with SuSE10.1 or wich PCMCIA-WLAN-Card is working correct with SuSE10.0.

Thanks for help

I have no idea of that card, it is not listed in the cards-known-to-work list of the ndiswrapper wiki, so it is possible that it is unsupported. If that's the case, chances are low that 10.1 will support it, sorry. You can find a list with supported chipsets and further information here: http://www.opensuse.org/HCL/Network_Adapters_(Wireless)
