No, I don't think so. I think it doesn't make sense to start a webservice, and only having an optional named service running. How should www.suse.de be translated, if no named is running? If we have $named only running optional, we might get more bugreports by our customers. I want to avoid this: WONTFIX If you have a good argument, why we should make it optional: reopen bug and explain by a good, realistic example. Why should the Squid server have to run named? It can use /etc/resolv.conf. Outch. I think I misunderstood situation. Thanks, will fix it. fixed package submitted. |
