Description Michael Stather 2006-01-12 16:52:41 UTC
When In install an USB network interface (e.g. a WLAN adapter) in the "hardware details" section of the YaST network module the "USB" checkbox isn´t checked, there´s a regular bus-id in the fiield and not the generic "USB" one.
If thisa is device dependant I can provide a log, but I think this does happen with all interfaces.

Please give more information about the used hardware anyway and attach the log, thanks.
Comment 2 Michael Stather 2006-01-13 12:41:40 UTC
Ok I retested with another network adapter and it was configured as "USB", so this has something to do with the first network card not being detected (which I already filed another bug for).
Sorry for opening this.

OK, then I suppose I can close this one, you might mark it as duplicate, though.
