With SuSE 10.0 we switched to xkeyboard-config (http://www.freedesktop.org/Software/XKeyboardConfig). This is probably the reason, why your setup no longer works. Anyway, I need more details about your xkb setup, i.e. all the files and the location of them to be able to reproduce the problem. No feedback --> WONTFIX. Sorry, but I didn't see Comment #1. I will follow up through the link, for now. In the meantime, I will attach the set of files I was using. Created attachment 64721 [details]
gzipped tar of thinkpad XKB files
Here is a .tgz with the files I was using. I found it easier to just define a complete set of files for my thinkpad, because of the mind-numbing difficulty of XKB configuration. It's a while since I ued this config, but the model was g41_85, and I was probably using the nodeadkeys variant.
Hmm ... can you provide the according xorg.conf keybaard section? |
