some comments: - this was a bugfix. You left out the rest of the release note: "We now mark IMAP messages read in a folder if they are deleted or moved to another folder. This fixes incorrect unread counts when checking folders other than the Inbox for new messages." - we are not allowed to make any change we want because we are bound to some rules to be allowed to use the official trademarks. I agree that moving an unread message should not be marked as read just because moving it to another folder. But we can do this only as enhancement request and have to discuss this with mozilla.com. That's most probably not possible in the CODE10 timeframe. Evolution does the same thing. In practice, I don't think it's a big problem, and I think we should close it WONTFIX. As per #1 and #2. |
