How can this be a bug of the installer if the installer doesn't even get to start? The kernel people will need hwinfo. Is installer=yast? I thought, that anyting from booting the instal CD to the "Have a lot of fun!" belongs to here. As with the current boot.ppc.iso can not bring me to a level, where I could issue a hwinfo command, is it OK, when I send it from the installed 10.0? Maybe you could describe then what 'main menu' you mean. "main menu" is what appears on the top of screen, when boot.ppc.iso is booted and language is set. One can show info, load kernel modules, start booting/installation from this menu. Similar to linuxrc on i386, but not curses menu, but a simple list with numbers. Ah, ok. You mean linuxrc in linemode. That was broken. Either use linemode=0 for the curses variant or boot off an older CD. |
