Description Michael Leithold 2006-01-15 19:26:25 UTC
I have Suse 10.0 32bit running on an Athlon 64. My wlan adapter is a fujitsu siemens connect2air 5400 d1700. I have the adapter running with ndiswrapper and the latest 32bit windows xp drivers.
The adapter crashes very often. Sometimes after five minutes, sometimes after an hour. When that happens I cannot even ping my router. After a reboot the adapter doesn't work at all. I have to reboot a second time. There are no crashes with XP. But after a crash with 10.0 it doesn't work with XP either until I reboot a second time.
I will add dmesg and hwinfo.

Well, running closed source Windows drivers inside your linux kernel may cause strange things. You can try another version of the Windows driver, of ndiswrapper, or both.
