/etc/sysconfig/autoupdate should be created when installing the package apt-libs and as far as I tested it is indeed created. There is indeed a bug, so reopening. This is rather embarrassing: the apt-libs package tries to create the sysconfig file but the template is part of the apt package. So the sysconfig file is only created if apt-libs is installed *after* the apt package. I've changed that for the next version of SUSE LINUX. |
