I have tried to assign a custom keyboard shortcut to "Display Images on Page" under "KHTML Settings" in the Konqueror web browser.  It will work for the current browser window, however, if I close the application and start another instance, the keyboard shortcut is lost - thus, I must manually re-set it everytime I load Konqueror.

addendum: I should have also mentionned that I tried saving the Web Browsing profile, and this did not resolve the issue.
