Description m Rassbach 2006-01-18 19:51:49 UTC
During the licence agreement phase, the 'tag' #VERSION# still says 'versiuon' not some actual version code.

During the boot phase after 10.1 is installed one of the splash screens says 10.0.42.

The Package install screen references CD 3/4/5, yet I do not remember a 3/4/5 disks as an option.

Hello Marc,

as for the version: This is a known feature (read http://www.opensuse.org/Bugs:Most_Annoying_Bugs#SUSE_Linux_10.1_Alpha4), there it says:

``The distribution identifies itself as "10.0.42 Alpha1" - and has in quite a lot places the 10.0 branding, including the 10.0 release notes. This is a known feature ;-)''

As for the second point: It is also normal behaviour and therefore no bug. One more point: component `openSUSE' is for the Wiki only. When reporting bugs for SUSE Linux, please choose `SUSE Linux X.X'. Thanks.
