Description David Sharp 2006-01-19 23:03:19 UTC
SUSE Linux 10.0 kernel Linux t101 2.6.13-15.7-default

Identical to this (fixed) ubantu bug
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/gnucash/+bug/1561

When trying to import OFX/QFX files into gnucash, when the import window comes up there are no transactions to import.

Running from a terminal gives

LibOFX ERROR: ofx_proc_file():No input file specified
(Above message occured on Line 4294967295, Column 4294967295)

This is from the versions:
libofx-0.7.0-6
gnucash-1.8.9-17

Ubantu's fix is to bump the package to 1.8.10

Stanislav, lets grab this patch.
Comment 2 Stanislav Brabec 2006-02-24 11:39:07 UTC
There is no patch, they updated version.

SuSE Linux 10.1 has 1.8.12.

For 10.0 you can download unsupported updated version from ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/GNOME/update_for_10.0/applications and ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/x86_64/supplementary/GNOME/update_for_10.0/applications

General policy for released products is not to update, but only find zhe smallest required patch.

FIXED for 10.1 and supplementary. Close as WONTFIX for 10.0?

Sounds right to me.
