Package dvd+rw-tools is still linked with resmgr, which is no longer necessary. /dev/sgX are not used for drive access.

You also might want to reconsider whether to try and prevent subfs from being unmounted. Burning a erasable disk which already has a filesystem on it results in the disk being burned while SUSE has that filesystem mounted.

There should also be a mechanism to prevent access to /dev/dvdrecorder while growisofs is burning, because currently that causes coasters.

There's also version 6.0 now, but I believe 6.1 is in the works.
