Description Ulrich Derenthal 2006-01-23 13:07:04 UTC
In order to compile Amarok with Mysql-Support, the program mysql_config is needed. According to the manual of Mysql 5.0 on the mysql.com website, mysql_config should still exist.

However, using pin, I cannot find a package in 10.1 Beta 1 containing mysql_config.
Comment 1 Philipp Thomas 2006-01-23 13:28:07 UTC
mysql_config is part of mysql-devel. Maybe this is missing from Beta 1?
Comment 2 Philipp Thomas 2006-01-23 13:35:00 UTC
Andreas, should mysql-devel be part of the OSS betas?
Comment 3 Andreas Jaeger 2006-01-23 13:51:20 UTC
Please get missing packages from the full ftp tree which is called factory.

I will not add mysql-devel to the CDs for now but accept the bug and decide later on it.
Comment 4 Lars Vogdt 2006-03-06 11:02:05 UTC
ok. We've splitted of some documentation from other packages - so we can include the mysql-devel package on the CDs. :-)
=> fixed for next beta.
