I think these strings come from /usr/share/YaST2/include/phone-services/answering_machine.ycp line267. They will have to be resourced so we can translated them. The following text is not translated: None MailAndSave SaveOnly Expected result: all text is translated Actual result: some text is not translated Please see attached screenshot What is the status here? YaST maintainers please include this fix for new versions. Karsten, you are listed as maintainer of yast2-phone-services. Any reason why you cannot patch the change into your own package? The problem is, that I'm currently traveling and I also do not have access to the new SVN YaST tree to check in changes and build a new package. Of course I can add a patch to the package, but in the past I was told, that for YaST packages this is not the way to go, you should create a new checkout. If this is not longer true, I will submit patched versions, but the change should be also checked in to the new tree. Ooops. Sorry of course this was only for testing, here the correct version.
Fixed in subversion for STABLE (trunk) and SLES10SP1. New package yast2-phone-services-2.15.0 submitted to STABLE (-> openSUSE10.3). Hi Jiri, based on bug 365155 this fix hasn't made it through to SLE10SP2. Do you think it can be fixed for the SP2 release? Probably the maintainer didn't submit the package. I am afraid it is probably too late now, but I'll try to submit anyway. I am closing this as the strings "MailAndSave" and "SaveOnly" are resourced and available for translation in phone-services.pot. Bug 365155 will track the translation side of this fix for SLE10 SP2. |
