Vendor Driver CD not opening up
This doesn't appear to be working. I've tried a CD with the folder structure linux/suse/ and some drivers in the suse folder and it still says "The CD-ROM data does not match the running Linux system. Aborting now.". Not sure if I've set it up correctly. Could you provide a location of a CD which would work? Maybe the error message could be expanded a little to make it clearer for the user? Also occurs on Traditional Chinese Beta 1 RTFM bugzilla severities. Also occurs on Braz Port, SL10.1, Beta 1. Same for Spanish, SL10.1, Beta1 This also occurs on Italian, SL10.1, Beta 2 Same for Simp Chinese, SL10.1, Beta1 Attach the logs, please. Otherwise I cannot help finding what's wrong... http://en.opensuse.org/Bug_Reporting_FAQ#YaST Created attachment 69961 [details]
Yast2 log files
Atached the logs files for beta4 Can't find this one - Beta 4 - Brazilian Portuguese Barry:
`unzip YaST2.zip` >>
Archive: YaST2.zip
creating: YaST2/
There's nothing but the YaST2 directory in the archive ;)
Reporter: I've tested this with Beta7 and it behaves exactly the same in en_US and in ja_JP, the only difference is the selected language :) Could you, please, retest with some `younger` Beta?
This works exactly as the en_US on Beta 8. Closing. The Japanese loop issue does not occur on Beta 8. |
