Description Jens Axboe 2006-01-26 19:56:06 UTC
I have a laptop with two batteries. In 10.0, the remaining time display showed total remaining time. With 10.1 beta1/2 it displays the current battery only, which is a little confusing.

i can confirm this.
Comment 2 Holger Macht 2006-01-27 13:56:16 UTC
And I know that the culprit is our library implementation...
Comment 3 Holger Macht 2006-01-30 15:18:50 UTC
Seife fixed the library implementation in svn. Closing....
Comment 4 Jens Axboe 2006-01-30 15:19:54 UTC
Cool, will it make beta3?
Comment 5 Holger Macht 2006-01-30 15:30:40 UTC
Yes, it will. Additionally, we have not much testers with multiple batteries. Thus, it would be helpful if you could left click the kpowersave icon in beta3 and report wether the upcoming dialog cotains reasonable values.
Comment 6 Jens Axboe 2006-01-30 18:34:05 UTC
Naturally, or just point me at an updated library rpm to install and I can check right away.

/work/built/mbuild/f17-hmacht-43 contains the same packages that went to stable this afternoon.
Comment 8 Jens Axboe 2006-01-30 19:58:00 UTC
Looks like it's working - one of my batteries is flat right now, but the percentage looks correct. Thanks!
