when installing Beta2 the installation of ksimus-0.3.6.2-4.i586.rpm failed with ( from y2logRPM) : 
 2006-01-27 13:12:30 ksimus-0.3.6.2-4.i586.rpm install failed
rpm output:
error: unpacking of archive failed on file /opt/kde3/share/doc/HTML/en/ksimus/ex
ample_rsff_4.png;43da0e2c: cpio: read failed - Input/output error

This is no media problem, the md5sum of CD4 was checked before and after installation. Verifying that rpm on the CD shows :

the --verify just shows you that the rpm install failed. Did you install or update? What does /opt/kde3/share/doc/HTML/en/ksimus/ex* show?

Yes, you are right, the installation just failed and did leave the installation incomplete. rpm -q said that the package wasn't installed at all
A second try to install it was sucessfull.
