Description peter czanik 2006-01-27 16:07:10 UTC
The installer says, that libexpat.so.0 not available, so OpenOffice (and it's sub packages) can not be installed. That's true, only libexpat.so.1.8.0 is there. If I create a symlink to this, as libexpat.so.0, OpenOffice.org works fine.

And, as it's often overlooked on my bugreports: it's on PPC, beta1/beta2. I did not have such a problem on i386 with beta1.

The primary problem is that the package OpenOffice_org has not been rebuilt on ppc several weeks. I am waiting until the function __std_alias::vsnprintf is enabled in the glibc again on ppc.

=> reassign to the PPC team.

it is still broken.
Comment 4 Olaf Hering 2006-02-02 14:36:57 UTC
appearently long double support will give us that __std_alias::vsnprintf back.
its in the works.

the vsprintf bug is fixed now, there is still another build problem. opnened a separate bug for that.
