Description Filippo Santovito 2006-01-28 17:25:57 UTC
create a batch file for sax2 (for example myvideocard) and insert what you want (for example Device->[X]->Raw->0->ChipID=0x5460).

run sax2 -m 0,your_driver -b myvideocard

from sax2 make some changes (for example change video resolution)
save and quit.

if you watch at your xorg.conf ChipID=0x5460 is not present.
if you dont do any changes inside sax2 xorg.conf contains correctly your directives.

fixed, ChipId is a basic device setting which wasn't known
the fix allows you to set:

  Device->0->ChipId=0x5460

patch will be available in next beta of 10.1
