Description Michael Stather 2006-01-28 17:50:14 UTC
When I install KDE the icons are created at very strange locations (outside grid positions).
This looks very ugly IMHO.
Comment 1 Stephan Kulow 2006-01-28 18:39:21 UTC
can I have a screenshot?
Comment 2 Michael Stather 2006-01-29 02:29:11 UTC
Sorry, I didn´t think about that and I enabled "align to grid" and the icons are now in place.
But I think this isn´t system-specific and you´ll really notice it, just install a basic system and start KDE the first time.
This has been there even with 10.0.
But if you can´t reproduce it I´ll send you a screenshot when I install beta3 :)

I installed beta1 and the first time when KDE was started (after the installer finished) the icons were in weird places but after a restart they were aligned to the grid.
So I think this is pretty easy to reproduce now. Just install beta3 *g

I can´t reproduce this any more with beta6. After some seconds the icons get aligned.
