When using the http method again it adds another /download/image1 file but also fails to mount Please change to a console and retrieve the YaST logfiles (/var/log/YaST2), then attach it here, after you tried the HTTP method. How am I supposed to retrieve this file during the installation? Is there any tool available to access an USB Stick or any aother device to store the file? Or are you expecting me to manually copy the file? Using an USB-Stick or a floppy (or a harddisk) is possible: change to a working console (Alt+Fx) and mount your disk or storage device and copy the files located in /var/log/YaST on it. You will have to mount this manually. I tried gain the log file and wanted to verify the problem. This time it worked correctly. I have no clue what actually changed. Maye the image file which is downloaded from http://ftp.gwdg.de changed? In short I think the bug report can be closed because it now works for me. |
