The scanned output of the laserjet.

So I suppose the 5MP is the postscript-printer and the 5M is a GDI printer?
Please provide `hwinfo --printer' and the yast logfiles in /var/log/YaST2.

The Laserjet 5P is a no postscript it works with the HP laserjet protocol. The 5MP is a Laserjet 5P with a postscript module.

      The HP LaserJet 6P, 6Pse, and 6pxi series printers have 45 scalable TrueType resident fonts--with 65 additional scalable typefaces on a disk for Windows. 

      The HP LaserJet 6MP series printer has the above fonts (in PCL mode) plus 35 scalable Adobe Type 1 resident fonts, with 75 additional scalable typefaces on a disk for Adobe PostScript users in Windows. 

      For all of the printers, HP FontSmart provides font management capabilities.

The link doesn't belong to thsi bug. Can #8 and this one #9 please be removed.

By the way 10.1 beta1 installs without a problem.

Made the same mistake with #10. So please delete #9 up toi including #11

Beta 3 has the same problem. There wasn't proably any time to fix this bug yet.

The problem hasn't been solve in beta 4 yet. Same problem there.

Does it work with Beta10? If so, please close this bug.

No it also doesn't work in RC2.

Can be solved by choosing:

Which is automatically selected.
