This also occurs if you install in English and then change over to zh_CN. YaST will not launch, but chnage back and it launches. Please provide the YaST2 log files! see: http://www.opensuse.org/Bug_Reporting_FAQ#YaST no feedback yet no feedback More info on this bug: This still happens on Beta 8. It only happens on KDE. YAST launches fine when logged in as any user when using GNOME. Yast2 logs are attached below. These are taken from text mode (which works fine). Created attachment 74738 [details]
YAST2 logs from Simplified Chinese Beta 8
Re-opening with y2logs attached. Please assign this to me, davidbo@vistatec.ie, if more info is needed. Only in KDE + Cannot reproduce in another WManager (comment #5) I'm afraid it's kdesu that's having problems *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 152077 *** Fixed for Trad_Chinese, RC1 YAST now launches when logged in as local user. Fixed for Simp_Chinese, RC1 Closing issue. |
