Description Felix Rommel 2006-02-01 16:55:42 UTC
It would be great if KDE and Gnome would use the same directory for icons:

/usr/share/icons

which only Gnome uses at the moment. KDE has it's icons in /opt/kde3/share/icons currently.

Now I have to install your Tango icons again for KDE which is the double space and more work if I want to install the newest version of Tango.

It also would be great if you use your Tango icons in KDE AND Gnome as DEFAULT. So applications from both DE's would look more similar. This would be much better for users instead of going the Gnome way and another KDE way in look and feel.

I think most users don't care about if an app is an GTK/Gnome or KDE one. They just want to have a common look for all applications.

not too soon.

mass reopening all SuSE Linux bugs that are set to REMIND+LATER to change the resolution to WONTFIX (adapting to new policy)

Closing old LATER+REMIND bugs as WONTFIX - if you still plan to work on it, feel free to reopen and set to ASSIGNED.

In case the report saw repeated reopen comments, it's due to bugzilla timing out on the huge request ;(
