Aren't you able to remove the CD from the drive while the error dialog is open? Or did I get your problem completely wrong? In short: What _exactly_ is your problem? Raphael: If there is a problem, please describe it in more detail. This means: Which package do you want to install and what is the error message here? AFAIK there is no package named `stupid'. During the installation I have no chance to fix a media problem (read error or similar), cause I have no option to open the drive. If one package makes trouble (doesn't metter which package), I can only ignore/try again/give up. It would be nice, if I'm able to open the drive (or change CD) additionally. (In reply to comment #2) IMHO a package, that makes trouble, is a stupid package. Not the failure is the problem. I wanna an additional option on the error message. P.e. "eject" or something else. OK... this would indeed be nice. OK, when time permits.
