Description Mark Cowley 2006-02-02 17:52:17 UTC
After doing an installation of SLES 10 Beta 3 I got the following error message when the system initially booted up:

'The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:TomboyApplet" Do you want to delete the applet from your configuration?'

I clicked on yes and the system worked normally after this.

Sorry I do not have the sligthes idea what this bug refers to, to my best
knowledge not to YaST2.

Reassigning to general screening team.

There is a package called `tomboy' which contains this applet for Gnome. At the time this message appeared, was it installed? Probably it wasn't installed and it could not be loaded therefore.
Comment 3 Mark Cowley 2006-02-03 16:55:47 UTC
No, the tomboy package is not installed at the time of this message. So this seems to be a dependency problem if Gnome needs the tomboy package and it is not being installed.

I searched in YAST for the the tomboy package so I could add it, but I could not find it, so is the package missing from the build? (By the way, I am using the x86-64 architecture.)
Comment 4 Michael Gross 2006-02-06 11:28:46 UTC
It might not be included in the OSS-version or on the CD-Set due to capacity reasons. Reassigning to the gnome-maintainers.

Assigning to gary, he knows where the duplicate is. Product is incorrect gary, but comments mention SLES 10.
