Tony: SLES 10 beta3 or SL 10.1 beta3? Note that either way, assigning the bug to me does no good, as I have no control over the package selections. Stefan: I was able to reproduce this in SL 10.1 beta 3, selecting a minimal X install resulted in the apparmor packages not being installed. Are you the right person to fix this? Steve. I just assigned to you and figured you could reassign as necessary. Maybe this was a stupid thing to do. Yes, should be SL10.1 Beta 3 also. Not sure if it's an issue in SLES10 also. Tony, it seems you forgot to set the bug back to ASSIGNED ;-) Steve, "Minimal X install" is *not* the "default" installation. AppArmor packages are only in "default" (KDE/Gnome) installations. Hmm, okay, I hadn't realized that was the interpretation of what "default" meant. Our stock set of profiles are mostly server oriented, so to me it makes sense if apparmor (at least the apparmor-parser and apparmor-profiles packages) are installed on a text-only installation. (My understanding is that lrupp moved the parser and profiles packages to disc 1 so it wouldn't break that aspect of the minimal text-only install, but that may have been sles only.) Marking closed as INVALID. Thanks for clarifying, Stefan. |
