Description Forgotten User mbQyAD5r4K 2006-02-03 11:36:04 UTC
For some reason the installer tried to mount my already existing XFS partition and ended up in a Kernel oops. The system was partly usable after the Oops but the installation itself couldn't continue.

The partition was created and formatted in SuSE Linux 9.2 and is normally being used with 2.6.11.11 without any problems.

FWIW the hardware is IBM ThinkPad T23.

I'll attach the Oops record shortly.
