Thanks for the status update. JFYI, on April 7, 2006 a new NVIDIA driver has been released. Same mess on MY card. Will test now with fedora etc. I think, this is a NVIDIA bug (see list at nvidia.com) http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_display_ia32_1.0-8762.html did not fix the problem (on 10.1 GM). Changeing the Medion-MX460 to an old GF 2MX 400 fixed it. It seems to be pure NVIDIA bug. The Problem was with Win32 drivers nearly the same (bluescreen, reboot etc.) So I think SUSE may close this bug as wontfix Ok. Looks like a hardware problem. Closing as WONTFIX. |
