ATM you show the release notes before the "hardware configuration". IMHO they should be shown at the end of the installation after all other steps have been completed.

I don't think it makes a lot of sense because the release-notes are containing information about certain hardware which might make trouble during the installation (and so on). Maintainer's decision.

Release Notes are presented as soon as they are downloaded from the server during internet test. Rather a Manager's than Maintainer's decision -> aj.
