Description Andreas Gruenbacher 2006-02-06 14:44:07 UTC
Hannes, could you please check if the zipl.conf stuff in /sbin/new-kernel-pkg still makes sense? This code needs to be moved to perl-Bootloader.

The kernel %post and %postun scripts will no longer call /sbin/new-kernel-pkg, they will use /sbin/update-bootloader instead which also kicks the bootloaders when needed.

I've removed the special handling for zipl in new-kernel-pkg already.
Do we still need new-kernel-pkg? Can't we just delete it?
Comment 2 Hannes Reinecke 2006-02-21 11:39:50 UTC
Indeed, we don't.
