Description Harald Koenig 2006-02-06 18:43:50 UTC
at least some man pages have lots of __somelabel__ keys which haven't been
replaced, e.g. "man radeon":

        # man radeon

        RADEON(__drivermansuffix__) RADEON(__drivermansuffix__)
        ...
        DESCRIPTION
radeon is a __xservername__ driver for ATI RADEON based video cards.
        ...
               SEE ALSO
                      __xservername__(__appmansuffix__), __xconfigfile__(__filemansuf-
                      fix__), xorgconfig(__appmansuffix__), Xserver(__appmansuffix__),
                      X(__miscmansuffix__)

Which other manpages are broken?

sorry, but I did not (and will not;) read all man pages.

at least for now this looks very X11 specific to me, so I'd first
check and fix the build system for X. if thies doesn't catch all,
I'm sure more bug reports will show up by time...
Comment 3 Thorsten Kukuk 2006-02-08 13:28:17 UTC
I'm the maintainer of the man-pages package, but I'm not responsible for all this broken manual pages shipped with some other packages.
Comment 4 Michael Gross 2006-02-08 13:40:35 UTC
Yes I thought so... that's why I asked which other pages are broken. sorry.
Stefan: radeon.4 is part of the X11-manpages. Can you take care about this?
Comment 5 Stefan Dirsch 2006-02-08 18:24:53 UTC
Looks like only the driver manual pages of the xorg-x11-driver-video package (i810, mga, nv, r128, radeon, sis, via) are affected by this problem. Others,
e.g. trident are not.

Comment 6 Stefan Dirsch 2006-02-08 21:32:40 UTC
