I updated 10.0 to 10.1b2
now in kde no media are automounted at all.
the kernel is getting the devices:

Same is true for ieee1394 disks.
cd/dvd are not mounted too.
there is no link to /dev/hdc == cdrom in /dev/disk/by-id/ (will report next)

seems to work in beta3.
Tested with USB and ieee.
No (trivial) access for users to NTFS drives.

user@ntfs support was added later.
