So - this is on NLD10 really; but the component is here; I have:

zen-updater-0.1.0-12

When I login I get a dialog:

ZenUpdater - Error
"You do not have the required access level (superuser) for this method."

what method ? surely it's possible to query everything the updater needs to know without requring any special privileges ? I have:

zmd-7.1.0-14

This is now fixed in svn.  Zmd must be run as root or as a trusted user registered with zmd.  If the updater is run as a user that isn't trusted and non-root it will ask the user if they would like to add their username to zmd.  If the user provides the root password all is well.
