Opensuse portmap version supports:
-t dir: chroot into dir
-i address: bind to address

It is trivial to create a /etc/sysconfig/portmap file with a line:
PORTMAP_INTERFACE="ethX ethY"

and modify /etc/init.d/portmap accordingly
(the same can be said for a CHROOT_JAIL, but that involves a little more work)

Right now portmap is the only basic networking daemon that binds to all interfaces by default with absolute no /etc/* solution for modifying this behaviour. The only posible option editing /etc/sysconfig/portmap by hand, which will conflict with portmap upgrades.

mass reopening all SuSE Linux bugs that are set to REMIND+LATER to change the resolution to WONTFIX (adapting to new policy)

Closing old LATER+REMIND bugs as WONTFIX - if you still plan to work on it, feel free to reopen and set to ASSIGNED.

In case the report saw repeated reopen comments, it's due to bugzilla timing out on the huge request ;(
