Description Peter Nixon 2006-02-10 09:44:23 UTC
The "pdns" package does not have Postgresql support included. Please include it in future releases as it is annoying to have to recompile the source rpm just to include something that is normally part of the base release of PowerDNS.

Updated PowerDNS Source RPM

Here is an updated Source RPM (Based on SUSE 10.0 original) which adds Postgresql support.
It also splits "pdns_recursor" into a sub package, and adds a startup script and default config file for it.
Comment 2 Peter Nixon 2006-02-17 16:25:03 UTC
I have also noticed some instability of pdns_recursor on Opteron (Running SUSE 10.0) however have had no issues when running on i586.
Comment 3 Vladimir Nadvornik 2007-02-19 16:44:17 UTC
Postgresql backend was already packaged.
