Description Danny Schneider 2006-02-10 19:49:13 UTC
using OpenSuse10.0

Octave reports this:

danny@pc00amdx8664:~> octave
octave: error while loading shared libraries: libgfortran.so.0: cannot open shar ed object file: No such file or directory

Was not able to find a [official] Suse 10.0 compatible version of this lib for x86_64 Systems -> Install is unclean, Yast reports the confict correctly!
Comment 1 Thomas Fehr 2006-02-10 19:57:40 UTC
Not a YaST2 problem, reassigned to general screening team.
Comment 2 Michael Gross 2006-02-13 14:00:18 UTC
Danny: It's in the gcc-fortran package. If octave requires that library, the dependencies should be set correctly.
Comment 3 Anna Maresova 2006-02-13 14:22:12 UTC
dependency fixed for 10.1

BUG is still unresolved!
Comment 5 Michael Gross 2006-02-15 14:41:36 UTC
Danny: It takes some time for the fix to be released, wait for the next build, namely the next beta version of 10.1, which will be beta4.
