Where is the actual problem, Ladislav? I would blame the mirrors for that. For example http://ftp.join.uni-muenster.de/pub/linux/distributions/suse/suse/i386/update/FACTORY/patches/ is empty directory. Details from YOU: Patch information retrieval failed. error HTTP return code: 404 (URL: http://ftp.join.uni-muenster.de/pub/linux/distributions/suse/suse/i386/update/FACTORY/patches/directory.3) OK this is probably a synchronisation problem. Sorry but we cannot handle this here. Maby you should write to the admins of the mirros ;) What is the source for mirrors? Every mirror which could choosed in YOU has empty that directory. I assume that this is the source : ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/FACTORY/patches and it is empty. I don't catch the point why updates are distributing trough some unknown server and that information is only on opensuse.org web page. IMHO many users search patches as before on SuSE ftp server and mirrors. What is your opinion? |
